Therapist
My goal is to help you reach your personal well-being. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Florida International University and a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. I’m currently a post-Master’s Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern. I am fluent in English, Urdu, Punjabi, and Hindi.
My approach to therapy is principle-driven and I believe in working with each client based on their unique mental health needs. My philosophy includes taking small steps towards change and I encourage my clients to do the same. I love teaching my clients skills, strategies, and behaviors to help improve their mental health and current way of living. I understand that life can sometimes be hard to deal with and support can make the journey a bit easier. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults suffering from Bipolar Disorder, Depression, ADHD, Anxiety, and Other Mood Disorders. I also have experience facilitating daily psycho-educational groups covering multiple topics including substance abuse and anger management. I also honor the challenges of the LGBTQ+ community and I am ready to help you navigate through the unique difficulties that this population encounters.
I believe that therapy can provide guidance and support in finding solutions to life’s challenges. I look forward to working with you!
