LaRhea Pinder, M.S.-RMHCI
LaRhea Pinder specializes in adolescents and young adults dealing with emotional and behavioral difficulties. LaRhea also enjoys helping couples and families develop healthier interpersonal relationships. LaRhea is a post-Master's Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern. Her clinical experience includes collaborating with clients on managing emotional challenges related to anxiety, depression, sexual abuse/assault, interpersonal problems, family conflict/divorce, substance use, as well as grief and loss. LaRhea’s professional training includes the treatment of mental health and substance use disorders within intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, and outpatient counseling settings. LaRhea earned a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, and a second Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice from South University. In 2012 LaRhea earned a Master of Science in psychology from South University. She completed her internship at the Children’s Home Society where she conducted home-based counseling with children and their families as well as counseling with children in the foster care system. LaRhea uses a unique and realistic approach to counseling that empowers her clients to tackle the challenges that led them to seek counseling services.
