Gabbie Clark is a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern in the state of Florida with a passion for helping children, adolescents, teens, and young adults navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, grief, and the complexities of living with chronic illness or pain. With a compassionate and client-centered approach, she primarily uses Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to guide individuals toward greater emotional well-being and resilience. For clients seeking spiritual integration, Ms. Clark also offers Christian faith-based counseling, blending therapeutic principles with faith to support healing and growth. Her goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where clients can explore their values, overcome obstacles, and lead more fulfilling lives.
Ms. Clark holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Alabama and a Master of Science in Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. During her graduate studies, she demonstrated leadership through active involvement in Chi Sigma Iota, the Student Government Association, and the Student Organization for the Advocacy of Psychology. She is currently pursuing certifications as a Certified Grief-Informed Professional (CGIP) and Certified Youth Mental Health Specialist (CYMHS) to enhance her expertise in supporting these populations.
Ms. Clark began her career as a school-based therapist, where she provided individualized interventions to help students manage behavioral and emotional challenges. She is deeply passionate about working with children and adolescents, equipping them with essential emotional regulation and coping skills to navigate life’s transitions and challenges. Committed to fostering a safe and supportive environment, Ms. Clark helps her clients explore their values, overcome obstacles, and create more meaningful, fulfilling lives. She looks forward to collaborating with her clients to meet their goals and create lasting change.
