Krystal Farnum, M.S., RMHI
Krystal Farnum received a Master’s degree in Counseling from Florida International University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of South Florida. She is a post-Master's Registered Mental Health Counseling intern. Krystal has experience providing individual, group, and family therapy. Krystal's professional experience includes family-centered practice, crisis prevention and intervention services; with an emphasis on at-risk groups. Krystal has also received training in evidence-based psychotherapies such as Applied Behavior Analysis and Trauma Incident Reduction. Krystal enjoys working with all age groups; and has additional experience working with victims of trauma, clients with substance abuse challenges and special needs populations. Krystal specializes in behavior modification strategies, motivational interviewing, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Krystal is a proactive professional and uses her insightful global perspective along with experience to assist all clients with their individual counseling needs. Krystal is proud to be a team member of Turning Point Mental Health Center and looks forward facilitating a better community, one client at a time.
