Evan Rojas is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern in the State of Florida. Mr. Rojas received his Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Catawba College as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Psychology from Florida Institute of Technology. He was born and raised in South Florida. Mr. Rojas has experience working with adolescents and adults in the criminal justice system, clients with dual diagnosis of substance abuse and mental health, as well as Veterans.
Mr. Rojas uses a Strength based person-centered approach implementing techniques such as Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness techniques to help his clients be centered in the present moment and strive to get better everyday. Mr. Rojas helps clients through personal challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief/loss, family/relational dynamics, and other life transitions.
