Leyla Iturralde graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and Sociology as well as a Master's in Social Work from Florida Atlantic University. She is a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern, and she is working towards becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with the State of Florida. Ms. Iturralde was born and raised in Ecuador (South America) and therefore speaks spanish fluently and has an understanding and appreciation for the hispanic culture.
Ms. Iturralde has a range of experience working with clients from diverse groups and providing clinical interventions to best meet the individual needs of each client. She has many years of experience working with children and within family dynamics. Ms. Iturralde began her career as a Child Advocate and also provided case management services for a non-profit organization. She possesses a Child Welfare certificate.

Ms Iturralde specializes in working with children, teenagers, families, and young adults dealing with anxiety, depression, anger issues, relationship challenges, family issues, and life skills. Her clinical approach includes Solution Focused Therapy, Client-Centered, Strength-Based, Mindfulness, Trauma-Informed, and Cognitive Behavioral interventions.
