Fonda Mosal is a Doctor of Marriage and Family Therapy (DMFT), a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), National Certified Counselor (NCC) and Clinical Military Counselor Certified (CMCC). Dr. Mosal is a native of Charleston, SC who earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of South Carolina. After graduating, she served in the military for twenty years, living in Germany for eight years and Korea for six years. While serving she earned a Master of Science in Management from Troy State University. Dr. Mosal retired from the military and began her second career by completing her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Florida. She completed her doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy at Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Mosal is a trained Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapist and has completed training in Gottman Method Couple Therapy level 1 and advanced training in Collaborative Divorce. She is experienced in working with a range of mental health challenges, including trauma. She works with adolescents, adults, and couples.
